Kākāpō
Our threatened native Kākāpō of Aotearoa are such majestic ground dwelling manu listed as a critically endangered species of NZ.
Their plumage mostly consists of vibrant greens and emanates a gorgeous display of colours. From the joyful combination of emerald hues deepening into darker shades of green through to an earthy beige.
Nocturnal in nature and herbivorous in diet these precious tāonga are considered to be a national treasure. Kākāpō are the world's only flightless parrot and are they also noted as being the world's heaviest parrot.
It is considered that they are possibly one of the world's longest-living birds with a reported lifespan of up to 100 years. Worthy of accolades to their species longevity and in acknowledgment of their esteemed status as the Rangatira of their realm.

…meaning…
’The Resonating Light’
Waves of frequencies ebbs with a warm energy that has a vibrating effect. A resonating light with an energy ebbing in frequency; the call of resonance; a reconnection to whakapapa, marae and whanau connections. Healing disconnection.
The name was inspired with a sense of connecting our disconnected each to their whakapapa through a wanting to belong - longing for Ukaipo - A place to belong.
Ive found a large percentage of customers who have lost their way and are looking to incorporate a sense of reconnection /belonging.
(Resonance in physics is defined as follows: A phenomenon in which an external force or a vibrating system forces another system around it to vibrate with greater amplitude at a specified frequency of operation.)
